Alabama Adapted Athletics will hold its wheelchair basketball day camp June 29th - July 2nd. This is a day camp option for campers who are not ready for an overnight camping experience. Campers planning to attend this camp will most likely be aged 12-15 (but can be up to age 19), working on independence in activities of daily living, having a basic understanding of the game and still developing fundamental skills in wheelchair basketball. Participants should be ready to participate in strenuous practice sessions for up to 6 hours per day and may have played club or competitive wheelchair basketball.

Alabama Adapted Athletics will hold its overnight wheelchair basketball camp June 25th - 28th. Campers planning to attend this camp will be aged 12-19, completely independent in activities of daily living and overnight living, have a strong basic skill foundation in competitive wheelchair basketball and be ready to participate in strenuous practice sessions with a focus on tactics and strategies for up to 6 hours per day. Prior club or competitive wheelchair basketball experience is highly recommended.

Staff for this camp will include men's and women’s wheelchair basketball coaches, as well as instruction from current and former Alabama Wheelchair Basketball Team Members.
