Alabama Adapted

Margaret Stran is Associate Director of the Adapted Athletics program. She has been at UA since 2003 and completed her Ph.D. in Kinesiology in 2007. Margaret loves creating more opportunities for students with ambulatory disabilities to learn, compete and succeed. She is also a clinical associate professor in the kinesiology department. She has won three national championships as a student-athlete and three as a coach, and has been part of all the national championships the program has won.
