The Alabama Women's Wheelchair Basketball team put together a strong road performance in Arizona, finishing 3–1 across four games against Arizona and the Arizona Storm.
The Tide opened Friday with back-to-back wins, defeating the Arizona Storm 55–44 and Arizona 51–41 behind dominant inside play from
Ixhelt Gonzalez, who posted 27 and 22 points in the two victories. Alabama controlled both games from start to finish, using efficient shooting and disciplined defense to set the tone early.
In Friday's third matchup, Alabama battled fatigue in a tightly contested overtime game, ultimately falling 60–56 to the Storm. Despite the loss, the Tide showed resilience, with Gonzalez recording 28 points and 19 rebounds.
Alabama bounced back on Saturday with its most complete performance of the weekend, defeating Arizona 64–37. The Tide used a dominant 21–4 second quarter to pull away, highlighted by another standout effort from Gonzalez, who scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

"We had moments of greatness throughout the weekend. Our most consistent and focused game came on Saturday, and it was great to see the team respond to adversity and play a complete game."
